ANU Heritage Database

Under the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 the University is required to keep an up to date register of its sites and places that have heritage significance, either due to their inclusion on a statutory register or because they have been assessed as having significance to the University community. This significance can be historic, aesthetic, social, creative or scientific. The following link connects to the University's Database of Heritage Places and to Factsheets about those places.

The Factsheets are listed in alphabetical order and have a glossary attached.  Click on the link to find out more about the site including its history, physical description and heritage significance.  This list will be updated on a regular basis with new information being added to existing Factsheets and new Factsheets being added as more sites are assessed for their heritage values.
